Below are the unit’s main features and technical advantages, and the technology behind them, so you can see clearly what it can do and how well it suits different refrigeration and freezing applications.

Together they make the unit an effective engineering choice for lowering operating costs while keeping refrigeration systems stable and well integrated.

Key features

Illustration of inverter energy saving
02

Up to 50% lower electricity use

Inverter technology can cut energy use by up to 50% compared with conventional systems, depending on operating conditions and heat load.

Illustration of precise temperature control
03

Precise, stable temperature control

Smart control keeps the room temperature steadier and reduces temperature swings during operation.

Illustration of hot-gas defrosting
05

Intelligent reverse (hot-gas) defrosting

The unit defrosts with hot gas under smart control, with no conventional electric heating element. Defrosting takes less time and less energy, and the unit runs more efficiently.

Temperature swing: PRIMST unit vs a conventional unit
06

Smaller temperature swing during defrost

During reverse defrosting the room temperature moves by about 1°C, compared with about 4°C in conventional defrost systems.

09

Three uses in one unit

A multi-purpose unit designed for three main applications:

  • Warming
  • Chilling
  • Freezing
OFC copper compared with ordinary copper
11

OFC copper: high resistance to oxidation and corrosion

The coils are made of oxygen-free (OFC) copper, which resists oxidation and corrosion better than ordinary copper, for more reliable coils with a longer working life in cold-room conditions.

More technical features

01

Advanced DC inverter technology

The unit varies compressor capacity continuously to match the actual load, instead of the repeated on/off cycling of conventional compressors. Operation is steadier and energy use is more efficient.

04

Electronic expansion valve (EEV)

An electronic expansion valve controls refrigerant flow precisely to suit operating conditions and the actual load, raising the efficiency of the refrigeration cycle and improving the unit’s performance.

07

Flexible operation to match the load

A wide cooling capacity range of 400–7000 W lets the unit adjust its output to the actual load, cutting unnecessary running and improving energy efficiency.

10

Adjustable 360° air blow

The air outlet can be turned by hand through 360°, so cold air can be directed to suit the layout and size of the store. The unit therefore fits many kinds of chiller and freezer rooms.

12

Strict quality testing (worst-case testing)

Every component is tested hard before installation: the compressor (16 tests), the accumulator (16 tests), the control board (36 tests, including thermal shock and salt spray), and a 100% precision helium leak test of the heat exchangers.

Quick, easy installation

08

The unit is designed to cut installation time to three main steps:

  1. Piping and wiring connection.

  2. Vacuuming.

  3. Power on.
