The insulated envelope
We use high-performance Sandwich Panels from 5 to 20 cm thick, injected with high-density polyurethane (PU) foam at a nominal density of 40 ± 2 kg/m³, for a high level of thermal insulation and stable operation.
Panel thickness is chosen according to the required temperature, the store’s dimensions, operating conditions and energy-efficiency targets. The insulation system is designed for low U-values (W/m²·K), limiting heat transfer through the envelope and reducing both thermal loads and energy consumption.
Panels come with a choice of facings, including coated, corrosion-resistant PPGI and rust-resistant Stainless Steel, to suit the application and the project’s hygiene requirements. PIR (Polyisocyanurate) panels with improved fire performance are also available for applications that call for a higher level of fire protection, in line with the project’s approved specifications.
Assembly and sealing systems
Our assembly systems are designed for maximum tightness and minimal heat loss, using interlocking Male & Female joints or the mechanical compression locks of the Cam-Lock System. Panels stay stable, joints stay sealed and the build stays sound for the long term.
Finishes and internal corners
Internal corners are finished with antibacterial Curved PVC Profiles, giving smooth transitions between walls and ceilings and between adjoining walls. They make cleaning easier, limit the build-up of dust and moisture, and support hygiene requirements inside the facility.
Engineered insulated floors
We offer several insulated floor solutions, chosen according to the store’s dimensions, temperature, products, storage loads and the way goods are handled, loaded and unloaded. The options include:
- Reinforced concrete floors: with waterproofing and thermal insulation layers, and the concrete finished by Power Trowel (Helicopter Finish) for a durable surface ready for operation.
- Sornaga tile floors: waterproofing and thermal insulation layers finished with heavy-duty Sornaga tiles, to suit the project and the application.
- Sandwich panel floors: Sandwich Panels built into the floor system, with suitable protective and finishing layers such as Plywood Reinforced with Fiberglass, Stainless Steel or Aluminum Checker Plate, matched to the loads and the handling equipment used in the store.
The right floor system depends on the room dimensions, the handling equipment, how the store is used, and its cleaning and hygiene requirements, so that the floor is durable and safe to operate on.
